Default Loss of power in rear axle

Has anyone else expericend a loss of power in the read wheels? I've had my 1:6th for less thana week and right after a full charge, the rear wheels were spinnign much slowere than the frint while climbing and making a noise like it was trying to turn but not enogh power to turn, or that something was slipping. the hill was not steep, nothing that it coulnd't handle. Also, I noticed that the rear has a hard time switching between gears now and takes a long time while going back and forth trying to lock it in. What can I do about these problems?? i was loving this toy until i am now ahving this frustrating problem.:?

mine did this. Just take the rear axle cover off and manually switch the shift fork over to low. I have to leave mine in low gear now because if I switch it it jams...

You are probably stuck in high gear and you will have what appears to be a loss of power. You have to change it manually. Put some light lithium grease on those gears and the arm while in there. I just took apart my whole rig and repacked the planetary gears and replaced a pin on the front end...it is quiet and runs strong and shifts like a champ now!!

I know for a fact it's not stuck in huigh gear because if I lift it off the ground, all 4 are spinning at the same speed...very slow....what else could be the problem?

see if the belt slips easily? Hold the axle and lightly tug one side of the drive belt and see how hard it is to make it slip. If it doesnt slip to easily i don't know what to tell you.my rear wheels got to the point where they wouldn't even move because it was slipping so bad. Bought a new set of belts from someone on the board (they broke theirs and sold them) and it runs perfect again.
