| Petition for micro sized axles
Why havent any of the companies taken notice of the fact that there are no micro crawlers on the market? The ssmt would be one of TRU's best sellers if they would re-release it.... Losi could easily make a 1:36 scale crawler using half the parts they already make... Rich? I think rc4wd would have a real winner if they could keep a set of axles around $75... I just dont get it... There are 100's of 1:24 bodies that could use this stuff... Am I the only one that wants this stuff? Speak up. |

I have a micro dt brushless, lipo, wicked fast. If im not carefull it eats through transmissions. I would love to make it a crawler. and would pay 75 for a set of axles.....but thats gonna be one hell of a task I think because then i would prolly need a different chassis, somehow make it 4wd, redo suspension altogether(maybe a toothpick 4 link),a heck of a gear reducer..........if it were available as some type of kit yea id buy it. but it might be better to come on out with a 1/36 or 1/24 crawler and i doubt that happens because i don't forsee a big enough demand for a production run. I would like to see it but this economy has alot of stuff at a standstill or slowly slidin back. cant really blame bama ......yet..........

Great idea! Could finally get down to some proper rock crawling - It's mainly gravel an' mud where I live! My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives. Rtz Lamarr |

yeah, I would want one or two 1/24 scale crawlers. As long as price not TOO outrageous!

I was thinking about the same thing. Been trying to work out something with a bunch of parts I have lying around. Well not really sure it will work out but it's worth the try.

| Me too. I'm trying to make some micro axles, doubt they'll work but we'll see. If a company would step up and make a micro crawler or just micro axles, they'd make a killing! As long as they are not tremendously overpriced. Hopefully someone will step up to the plate!

Thats a heck of an idea. I could imagine a sea on mino jeep crawlers from flat fenders to comandos parading around my living room. So many 1/24 scale model kits out there to steal bodies off of. You could make a course out of a sheet of plywood like a train layout. def shafty though just for the reason to make them look scale. Then you could have an Eflite MRC filming arial shots lol. But I'm game for sure. Even if it were just axles and a tranny. Great idea glad I'm in your club .

I wan't to build a super, then a scaler, but most of all a micro! My 2.2 is to big for in the house. I Think the Mrc's are cool but still to big for in the house. So yes on the micro axle's. |
