Default New Arrows chassis for MOA HR axles

So i was chosen to be a tester for a new chassis, thanks to saver for his chassis, i will try and do a good write up, i already received my mail from today and was surprised that the chassis was here already.

I will take apart my mfm BW and use the axles on this build, i will have to fab some links(not my favorite part), but that's about it, specs.c

Target wb 12.5"
Twin 35t motors
C.C. sidewinder
C.C. BEC
TP servo 946
Dig f/r
Panthers
Eritex comp heavies

First impression, it's that it is very light and smaller than the MFM B.W.

Looks Good.

What kind of skid does it use?

Thanks for the props, i received my chassis without a skid, this is a tester and saver is looking for input from us to design and fab a skid for it, i will be making my own, similar to the one from the mfm B.W.

So i started working until yesterday late in the afternoon and today in the a.m. , i had look everywhere to get the cutting board the thickness i needed, but i finally got it and got to work, hereare the progress pics.

I wanted a skid a little wider then the mfm one but narrower than the stoc axial.

Size comparo with mfm chassis before dissasembly.

axles out

Mfm b.w. chassis served me well

axles mounted up

Rear axle clocked

Front axle straight

Panthers mounted up a little over 3 1/2" clearance, i have to paly around with shock position and or limit the shocks travel.

Flex shot

I can't wait to see how you get all those electronics in that chassis w/o any cross braces to mount an electronics plate. Nice lookin build though

Cross brace will be placed on this chassis, not on just yet, should have a mounting location after that

Well here are a couple of pics of how the electronics would be mounted, for now anyways, i still habve to clear all that wiring and i also still have the rear axle i can put any of the components on in case i don't like how the rig handles, but so far the test run it seemed very capable for the low belly clearance and incredible stable, i had only ran different chassis with 4" shocks and the arrows drives really well, i was also impressed on the flex, around 60 degress when the shocks are fully compressed, it feels very predictable, although i also feel that it needs upper braces to protect the chassis from bending in case of a hard tumble(i braced mine with tlt braces and spacers).
I should be able to get some video monday

Well i managed to get some pics and maybe a minute of video before the camera batt died on me, thanks to Polo for helping on the video and almost killing himself out there on the rocks, i will have a better video on monday, but so far this chassis is pretty impressive, i feel it plants the tires very well on the ground/rocks, i also like that it absolutely uses all the shocks travel.

Sorry for the late reply, shocks are from a 1/10th redcat buggy , stock lower axial links and and some 1mm longer rod links on the chasiss end, i have some tlt aluminum links for the upper links, i have been testing it and imho i think this chassis is definetly a comp worhty contender, at least on my HR moa axles, i will have more video tomorrow, but you can't go wrong with this chassis and i would definetly get the skid with inboarded link mounts

Hey Jason, i haven't been to the u.s. for any comps this year, but our local comps(we do use USRCC rules btw) my rig has been dominant, we have a couple tlt's and some ax-10 that we do comps with and my hr axles and Arrows chassis have always led the way, i'll look for some video that has been taken on the comps and post up.
