hi everyone how is everyone storing their crawler because im moving houses and my crawlers will be stored away for about a week or two.so i was just wondering whats the best way to store them so they wont get dameged??????? cheers jake |

biggest thing will be 1) proper battery storage, differs with nimh and lipos and 2) the tires flat spotting, so if you can take those off and just stick em in the box with no weight on them would be your best bet

I keep all of my tires in a couple large storage totes. I run Axial hexes on 3 of my rigs and other locking hexes on a couple others. This way I can put my rigs on the shelf, without wheels. Also when I do travel to larger comps, I'll put my comp rig in a suitcase. I stuff the tires around the rig, and fit what ever other items I can with it. If I were to move with them, I would remove the wheels, and wrap each one with a towel before putting them in the box. Leave the body on, and all the electronics. |

They will be alone for a week or two??? how will you manage?? I too store my wheels on its side, off my rigs. or if you can tape some blocks under the axles taller than your clearance so your tires are off the ground. |
