Default 770'team sidewinder replica on yokomo cl axles

hello , I started a tuber on a pair of yokomo cl 1.9 axles :
the side panels are printed on photo paper and than hot plastic laminated to keep them waterproof
the brass tubing is lightweight and won't have to support the links : I 'll make a U channel skid plate to mount them ans the radio

scaler set droop shocks :

the steering wheel is a from shock flyer

What keeps your droop shocks from coming apart when extended?

how do you like those yoko axles?? are they strong?

the extremity of the inner tube is deformed to be wider ans fit the big tube inside Ø and once it's assembled the external tube is set to reduce the bottom Ø and the tube inside can't get out anymore without tools

the brass tube is strong enough if you don't use too long sections without renforcements I've already made a pair of tubers like this and they never broke , remember it only have to support its weight and sometimes rollovers , all the linkage are mounted on the alloy skid

for the tires the rc4wd rock crushers x/t 1.9 seem to be more scale but I've always heard the old rc4wd line up were hard like a bit of wood

I didn't have run the yokomo axles enough to say if the gears are ok but the steering knuckles are for sure a weak point, they make aloy ones, the rest of the truck and axle housing seems fine most of the screw are mounted with threadlocker
