| we need an angle finder. it is pretty steep. the front side of the carpet was not enough traction to get up, we flipped it over and the back made a huge difference. but. . . now that we have installed the mud the climb is impossible with mud on your tires. it is going to require some modification or just knowing you aren't going to be climbing up that line with muddy tires. Some would say do away with the mud, but it is just too damned fun!!

That is awesome. My in-laws have a HUGE barn that is standing empty right now. You have given me some ideas and I haven't even bought a crawler yet. |

he has nice rocks outside but the more we thought about it the more we liked being able to control the obstacles instead of being stuck with what is there naturally. so now we have both. but we have only been outside once so far, the weather has sucked. I say do it, you wont regret it, and you will be surprised what pops into your head |

what we have planned is to finish up the course, knowing that is is a neverending task, but we want to get all the lines from one point to the other. then we have to fix a couple of soft spots on the floor, since it is upstairs so that nobody has any ideas of suing us for falling through. once that is done we plan on having an open invite on a couple of days so that people can come and run and help us with new ideas. how far are you from carlisle? |
