Here is what happened. I got my buddy hooked on crawling and i hooked him up with a 2.2 thinking we could crawl at the local parks for fun. That wasnt good enough for him. he just bought a house with a massive barn and he asked if i thought we could build a course with what he had laying around, which was plenty. we we set out to lay out a single course, which turned into three distinct lines, ranging from the floor to over 8 feet off the ground. the lines intersect in some places and run separately in others. it is complete with an axle slide into a mud pit, wire bridges, hellaciously steep climbs and a double exit mine shaft. enough typing already, I know what you need.

now we have all the lines completed. all that is left to do is clean up the middle where you walk and add some scale items like trees, ground cover in places and some paint. it is really awesome, some of the obstacles are pretty damned tough, and the slide into the mud is tits

I got tired of posting the pics, there is a lot more to the course than meets the eye. it is seriously the largest indoor area i have seen, and the coolest thing is we have 20 bucks in it. the rest was scrap wood, fencing, foam, carpet etc. we bought nails, screws and a rope that we didn't use. . . .yet

here is a very dark video of the slide into the pit, where the mud is yet to be added but will be next time

OMG...That is the sickest homebrew course I've ever seen, it's got everything but the kitchen sink, I love the stump board, AWESOME job, wish I was even remotely close so I could try it out

That's the best 'scrap material' course I have ever seen! Great job fellas!

I think I see the reason they were able to pound so many nails.............

Great looking course and use of "what was around", can't wait to see some vid of the course in action, wish I had that much room.

LOL. i know that also, but unfortunately i got all the miles out of my chevy truck body i could and i used my spare on my buddies truck, so unfortunately for now i am the bastard of the barn with the FORD.

I think if i look closely i can find the cabinet that the sink was sitting on, but i think they reused the sink

that stump board is one of the hardest spots on the course, the "tree" in the middle was supposed to be so you could hook the rear and dig, but the stumps prevent it.

The general idea we started with was to have 3 lines that we could run at the same time and make it so that all three trucks would finish around the same time. Unfortunately that is damned near impossible to do, so we incorporated some spots where you may have to either gun it to get to the preferred line first, or wait for the other truck to pass.
