12T motor? Do you want to crawl or race with this thing? I would suggest a 45T or a 55T motor, Novak has the rooster crawler ESC with a 55T motor for like 110 bucks or so. As far as servo, look for something with AT LEAST 140/oz torque. The more torque the better but servos in this torque range are about 50 bucks, give or take a few....

You have gotten yourself a good starter that you have alot of upgrades you can do too. Which Traxxas ESC are you talking about? A 12t motor is a little mcuh for a crawler. I am running aIntegy Matrix Pro Lathe Motor 75T motor. It is slow but has alot of torque. If you want wheel speed with the torque and money is not a issue then I know alot of people here will recommend a 7t puller motor from Holmes Hobbies. |

| Well ya can, but as stated it's not a crawling setup. A sidewinder or fxr 35-55 combo can be had for around $100 and allow ya to lipo 3s now or down the road. Get a good metal gear servo for the steering, my bottom line is a hobbico c170, but ya can get by with some thing around 200oz. do some research here. These question get asked over and over so there is lots of info.
