I'm planning building a 2.2 tunning/practice area with some scale trails this spring in my back yard and I would like it to have a well landscaped effect. This one is nice because it adds value to the outdoor space nice work. Last edited by Stormin2u; 01-28-2010 at 08:48 AM. |

Haha....Shelljeep.....that is the spot that we are having our comp at this weekend... It looks quite a bit different these days. BTW, Lance made a bunch of those rocks....the ones on the left of the picture are hand made. |

Damn man. Wish I could make this one. Would love to see how it looks now, in person. Pretty sure I'll be there for Gal in Feb.

Thanks, the backyard is my little oasis. It's never a bad idea to sell an RC track to the wife as a garden... Actually this was the first year I covered the whole thing in mulch, it looks great but killed the Scale Rally Racing. So the Mulch is gone and in the spring when I replace the dead plants, (Damn Winter) I'll only put it back in key spots. It's one of those function over form things. Here's the Backyard as of today, ignore all the tennis balls, I marked out multiple courses today and they are covering the marking stickers, rain is on it's way and I prefer it not wash away all the marks. Gotta have a micro crawling area. |
