| where to find a washer - 8 x 11 x .5
Desperate to find a washer like the one in title... 8mm inner diameter, 10 or 11mm outer diameter, and anywhere from .5 to 1mm thickness. Have searched McMaster Carr, MicroFasteners.com, etc. Cannot find a washer in this size range anywhere online in any material and its driving me NUTTY!!!! Thanks if you have any tips, Ron |

This is what I always have on hand. Great for shimming sloppy axles and trans or whatever http://www.hot-racing.com/?partnumber=HOTW100&c=459 |

ya ya that sure does look like a handy little pack... I'm a bit burned up with "Hot Racing" these days (cheapo weak Clod cvd's)... But variety pack of shims seeming like a must-have for the hobby, might just do it. gunnar thanks for the tip on deletes -- i thought i could delete it somehow, didn't see it in the 'posting edit' screen and was too lazy to search further. Good thing i kept the thread though, eh -- with Rocksmith's handy link. Last edited by WRXronald; 04-21-2009 at 04:40 PM. |
