Default just droppin in to say hi

Mornin fellas.
I spend most of my time on this forum in the MRC/newbie/chit chat forums.
I clicked on you guys forum and decided to check out the pics.

First let me say, you guys have some awsome rigs, really cool. You should all be proud!

I do have a question tho. In most of the pics it looks like your shocks/springs are mounted horizontally. is that the way they come stock, and how exactly does it work. (i know the mechanics of how it works, just wanting to see an upclose pic of the working parts. I would love to do this to my MRC...

thanks guys.

Welcome Soundcolor! The answer to your question is yes there is two types of models for the Goliath. The earlier Goliath Rock Crawler had the cantivellar shocks which ran horizontal. The bad thing about this setup was the darn thing wouldnt climb worth squat and was smaller in size. The new Goliath Pro12 has an extension kit to make it a 2.2 setup. The shocks were also changed in position to be more effective. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I kinda figured they would be more a hindrance, but at the same time I was kinda hoping someone had figured out a good way to do it.

Thanks tho.
