Default first an appology

First I have to say that for the longest time I didn't "get" the whole RC crawler thing. But LOSI just sent me one of their mini crawlers to use on the show (I am building a match to the S10 truggy) and I have to say I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!!!

I have been out in the backyard all morning figuring our where to build my own RC crawler park and I am now planning on building one of these LOSI's for myself they are a blast.

Tons of fun when you just want to wheel but not have to "work" for it.....I am now officially a convert. Be sure to look for a buildup on Xtreme in teh future!!!!!

You'll forgive me if I have my doubts about your identity. Not a lot of TV personalities in here.

Having said that, welcome aboard.

They are fun little distractions from the 1:1 and they are a lot less expensive to build ..... and roll overs don't hurt as much either.

So if you are who you say you are ...
I always wondered, what do yall do with all the project vehicles?

Oh and let me be the first to invite you to a big competition. Texas has it's state finals on June 20th where there will be 3 clubs competing for spots at Nationals. If yall want to bring out some cameras to see some good TX action let me know and I'll help you find lodging, etc. There is also some good 1:1 wheeling nearby .... Feel free to send that lady you worked with too. She's not so hard on the eyes.

I'm not doubting Ian from Xtreme. I'm just wondering about someone pretending to be him.

The whole "no reverse ESC" thing comes to mind...

Ian!!! Welcome to the dark side!! I'm always a fan of your show but now I have a feeling we will be seeing a few of these popping up now and then on the show which is awesome! Just think of all the people that watch your show and how many of them have kids that they could do a parent/child build together! Plus the amount of exposure these will get is insane! Congrats and be sure to take lots of pics and videos on your crawler gettin it!

Hey welcome Ian! Big fan of your show. Anyways, glad to see you try out r/c crawling. You would be blown away if you went to a large comp at what these things can do. Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours. Best thing is you can throw it in your 1:1 rig and run it when your taking breaks on the trail.

Hey Ian (or really good fake),

You should wait until the Losi comp crawler comes out, then you could do a showcase of all the different types of crawlers that are available. You could show how similar the comp rigs have become to the 1:1s. Then you could show the scalers and how crazy guys are in getting them to look realistic. Then you could talk about the tons of different options there are in upgrades and axles and chassis and link setups, etc.

I agree with everyone here that Extreme 4X4 is the only redeeming quality of the Powerblock. Just think of what would happen to our hobby with that type of exposure.

p.s. I would be more than happy to fly out to help you out

Welcome to your new addiction You think the MRC is fun, you should try an AX 10 or an SCX 10, you would have a BLAST with either one. With your skills (if you have the time) you could build on hell of a scale rig. Check out the 1.9 and 2.2 scale sections here.
