Really I do not use free wheel much, I might use it once in a comp, but it is better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it |

i use freewheel in every comp, and when i power up my rig it defaults to neutral so in case it were to take off, atleast it would only be two out of control instead of 4 wheels. this is important if you use a low turn motor and lipo's |

All the feakin time. I use it on really tight turning descents, when side hilling and I don't want the rear to push and tip my rig over. I also use it to reposition my front end when trying to climb something steep. If I'm on loose ground, I free wheel and gun the throttle. It whips around better then if I try and use dig but it depends a lot on the terrain and the situation. It's all about learning how to drive your rig. If you didn't have it, you'd adapt anyway.
