| Need New Driveshafts
The stock Axials have been slipping every 10 minutes or so. I have tried loctite with no success. Finally today I busted a yoke. Time for a new set. So what does everybody recommend?

MIP or Punishers. You wont break either of those shafts.

I recomend new axial replacements, I belive the weakest link should be cheap and easy to replace. go with the metal yokes and blue loctite. the metal retainer rings work well toothis is just my opinion |

| i also use 2 grub screws PER yolk with thread lock let it dry for 24 HOURS!!!! the retainers are great and i still have my stock shafts after 8 months with retainers but new screws in them. cheap and they work! other wise id suggest the MIP shafts they are very nice and smooth just be sure to use the locktite and let them dry |

I just got the new MIP's today! I like them other than the fact they are heavy.

Go with Punishers. I use them and have never had a problem after all my abuse. A few friends of mine use MIP's and they have problems of the pins that hold the CV's together falling out during crawling sessions.

This is a cheap and bullet proof mod: Maxx Shafts made easy. MIP and Punishers are expensive and hard to mod if you go to a different chassis and need to change the lengths. |

My son and I have MIP's and they are very strong. If my hasn't broken them they are strong. He has a 7t puller and a heavy finger. I can't belive he doesn't break more stuff.

On my comp rig I use Traxxas yokes part #4628x and Traxxas shafts part #1953. I have never had a drivline issue with this combo. Just make sure to use two setscrews per yoke and blue loctite. Also allow 24 hrs for the loctite to cure.

The MIP driveshafts are the way to go...I don't think I have ever seen one fail. They are super durable and availible at a reasonable price online. |

I run the MIP's and love 'em! No issues at all, and they add a little weight down low where you want it.

Lost many stock shafts. I also use Traxxas yokes part #4628x and Traxxas shafts part #1953 on my basher ax10 (sidewinder/45turn/3s) without problems (rear is a little short and has pulled out but I'm running about 55/65 no dig). MPIs on comp rig (fxr/puller/3s) and have lost a pin (didn't locktight it) but really gets beat. For the small price difference MPIs are all steel and a deal. but anything is way better than stock.
