Arrow Jeepial presents,660 Crawlers testing grounds rock courses!!!

So I am building myself a personal rock course....I mean what else is left to do when you have this laying in your driveway, but to make a narly rock course to play on...Keep in mind this is about, what seemed like 20 ton or so worth of rock..Atleast thats how my back feels after the gathering them, and this is just the begining(gotta have real rocks for a rock course IMO,can't be rock crawling on starfoam...).Figured I would post this up now, then continue to post pics as it progresses..

Feel free to post thoughts, comments, and any suggestion as this build moves on.

Also, any of you Missouri guys that might be close to me or willing to make a drive, get ahold of me or map quest my address and feel free to drop by and do some crawling, maybe some laboring if you come too soon...

Looks good!

Good thing her Explorer was already in the garage..Nah but really though that is the side that we use for storage,so I am in the clear.
Plus I am moving the rocks to the rock bed to the right in the picture.

Yah I would love to just keep them in the driveway.....But I am gonna move them over to the right in the gravel bed you can see...It will be about 4 ft wide and about 50 feet or so long.

Well I started to do some work on the course today and it is actually less than than 50' long, but oh well, then I had a freak rain cloud that dumped on my house for 5 minutes(I hate Missouri weather by the way)and made it so humid and sticky I just gave up for the day..But here is what little progress I made.About the first 6 to 8'...And damn, some of those rocks are freakin heavy, but it will be worth it to have a course made from REAL rocks and not that starfoam plaster o crap garbage..

Actually, that is a bowling ball in the pic..There is another one hiding in there too...Figured what the hell I would throw them in somewhere. My buddy who gave me some rocks found them in a field when he was bush hoging with his John Deere and he actually found about 50 of them...Needless to say there were only two survivors....Wish I would have been there for that one..

Well I did have some of them in the garage during the winter for some mini crawler fun...But house cleaning turned my garage into a storage facility and killed that one....For now anyways...2 words....YARD SALE!!! Then it's back to having a heated and air conditioned mini crawler course.

DAMN IT! The pics are'nt working for me! Probably a setting somewhere.
Either that or it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm at work. I'll have to try at home. Sometimes I can see pics sometimes I can't.

Maybe these will work for you...

Well I made some progress today on the rock course...The pile in the driveway is getting a LITTLE smaller..Well Kinda...Good thing I am in pretty good shape,or else it would be complete hell on the back, but trust me I feel it....But it is gonna be worth it in the end...Here are some updated pictures.

My 4 year old son giving me his opinion on where there needs to be more rocks!!

I'm at home and the pics work here. That looks like a good start to an awesome rock course.

Thanks man,it's starting to take shape...It's a pain in the back process but it's gonna be worth it!!Gonna try and do some more work on it today,I will post some progress pictures later today if I get some more done..Trying to get a general layout that can be changed up easily at later dates to keep it challenging..
