Default ax10 crawler questions

Hey,

I have a couple of questions about some replacement parts i want to get for my axial.

-Which ESC is the best choice? (i dont have brushless) I DONT WANT ANY DELAY ON REVERSE OR FORWARD!!
I run a novak 55T brush motor.

-Want some new tires. which ones? i run mostly on dirt(not sand) and mud. also a little on the rocks, but not much.

want to order from the same site because i live in Norway.

sry for bad english :P

It sounds like a Sidewinder and a set of Chisels would be a good match for your crawler. You can order both from RPP Hobby:
http://www.shop.rpphobby.com/product...productId=1354
http://www.shop.rpphobby.com/product...&productId=767

The sidewinder is easiest to program using your computer and this link:

Yep! On my comp crawler, when in rocks only, I usually run Panthers, but if there is a chance of mud or a good portion is dirt, I stick with the Chisels:
In the first clip of this video, you can see my crawler running these tires and ESC that I recommended:

if you run in mud you may want to reconsider putting your batteries on your axle.water and batteries doesen't mix.I would also recomend hpi rock grabbers, they have a perfect tread for mud.and lastley you should look into the tekin fxr, its tiny and could easily be placed in a sealed box with your reciver and then you could run in the mudd with no worrries.the grabbers and fxr and also good choices for crawlin the stones if you shift your interest

btw if you run in the muud alot make sure too tear down your axles and clean a regrease reguarly

I run a 7T Puller motor, 87T spur, 12T pinion and a 3S lipo.

Yep, that ESC will work well with the 7T! I am running that combo on my comp crawler and love it! That motor will stop on a dime when you let off the trigger (to neutral). I had to use my Castle Link to reduce the drag brake settings...

It comes programmed for brushless, but you can change it to brushed. I REALLY recommend that Castle Link....it makes programming the ESC (and any other castle electronics) MUCH easier!!
