really depends on what your wanting to build...indoor outdoor moveable or permanent.....just do a search for course or backyard courses and youll find tons of pics and info on it

for outdoor real rocks are the best ive got a huge pile of rocks! get lots of rocks and make stuff that you dont think you can get over and the bigger the rocks the more fun!

used real rocks in my backyard course as well....really cant beat the real thing!

wifes usin real rocks,she took my planter and roses OMG waddoido LOL
we use real but i,ve seen moveable units,with cheesecloth/foam/paint

its not that hard. get a bunch of rocks and put them in a big pile... Jeep- that look sick bro! We have a bunch of HUGE rocks around here, but im to lazy to dig em' up... maybe ill get the surface ones and add them in on the "natural" course I have out back.

backyard homemade crawl spot build thread

this will give you plenty of ideas and examples...i took lots of pics so it should be pretty strait forward.....theres plenty of ways to do this so this is by no means the bible on it but just how I did it....and its no where near finished

Do what I have done, Got a heap of rocks of all different sizes and tell the wife you are "Landscaping the yard" I have made a dry river bed and all sorts of stuff.
