| AX-10 or Wheely King
My friend is getting a brand new ax-10 RTR and i am going to get a wheely king, and i am also going to buy the crawler conversion kit with it. he keeps sayin that his crawler will be better than mine! i just want to know what everyone thinks of this comparison? |

Both can be very capable rigs. The wheely king just takes more work to be a true "crawler". I have a waterproof wheely king that just gets sunk in the mud and blasts through crap. I also have an AX-10 that i use for crawling. Different builds but both are equally fun.

I'd go with the Axial. Better aftermarket support, more capable rig out of the box. Its a platform that was designed as a crawler from the outset, rather than one that has to be adapted. The axial also has a much more crawler friendly transmission in that it sets the truck up with a lower center of gravity. If you're looking for a basher, the wheeley king is probably the better way to go.

His will probably be better for just crawling. i'm picking the wheely king because i want an all around truck. i wana be able to go to a comp on saturday and bash it around on sunday. i had a wheely king before and i could bash it around all day and not break a thing, on the other hand i took it to a comp and came in 10th out of 32. which is not bad for a mostly stock truck and it was my first comp too

| The AX10
The AX10 would be the best bet for your money. The AX10 is ready for crawling right from the box. Alot more support and parts for the AX10. Its good to think outside of the box, but if you want to have the best get the AX10. |

| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4hHL8QfDDs the axial and wheeli king crawling comparison, their both good, but axial will be a tad better kuz its made for rocks, wheelie king is like a powerful stunt truck, for bashin in your home to outside, but their both good |

Get yourself some berg, bully,or similar MOA axles and build your own rig using the vendors section found on this site and I think you will be much happier in the end.IMO..Plus you will spank his axial all day.. |

If your gunna go Wheely King, keep is stock for a bit until the DNA WK chassis comes out. It should be able to keep up with axial. I own them both. DNA is also making a WK dig unit |

Ax10 will fair better in an AX10 vs. WK showdown. My money is on the AX10.

I have run both, and the WK was a great starter to learn from, but now that I have moved to Axial... It's much a better rig, and easier to work on.

| X2. Check it out in the Wheely King section, he has videos and it looks very capable. The only reason WK's get a bad name is because they are not crawlers out of the box, even with the crawler conversion. But building your own stuff is most of the fun anyway.
