Default where do you buy small metal gears?

i've been searching the net for small metal gears i found this place

Their selection is decent but doesn;t have what i'm lookign for.

small worm gears and spur gears with two gear faces. like a small gear on one side and a large gear on the other side.

let me knwo if you can help.

yup their smallest worm gear is 1.25" with a 1/2" bore.

i'm looking for smaller. if possible

Your best bet to keep the price down is to use parts from other kits.

I can't think of any other gear sources sorry. Maybe somebody else will come through with info.

try 'north west shortline supply', they're based out of Seattle. They make gears for the model railroad industry. I've used their stuff for years when I was scratch building model train projects.

Another place to look at is QTC . They have all sorts of small gears.






This set of gears could be used in a way to reduce drive line angle
