My Reign J2-TT with Bully Axles as a base weighs in at 8.25 pounds. About 3.25 pounds of that are wheels/tires. A pound or so in the motors (2). The Bully Axles are not light....so probably over a pound in there. The battery might be near the 1/4 pound mark. So with those major components, it is sitting close to 5.5 - 6.0 pounds. Still need to add the chassis, links (all of mine are solid 4mm threaded with 1/4" delrin sleeves....not light links.), ESC, Dig Unit, RX, Steering servo, Chassis bracing, body, wire, connectors, shocks & oil, and all of the steel screws/nutts to put it all together. The weight adds up quickly. |

| My weight how dare you My AX10 ARTR comes in at a soild weight of 5 lb and 9 oz. Heavy enough, but not to heavy. Works for me, because its good enough for serious climbs and still can stop on steep downhills. |

Ok so im not too far off of everyone else. I have been working hard to try to get as much weight as I can downlow. I plan to go lipo and shed some more weight. Im running a 45 turn brushed motor and would like to keep my rig as nimble as I can with out sacrificing weight where I need it. As an added benifit I hope to lessen the load on my servo and the motor . What is the lightest setup out there? |
