Default The 'Tot and Rockraider Chassis.....

Yeah, after having a pile of Rockraider Chassis sitting here I had to slap one onto the 'Tot...

TXT/Jugg2 tranny rotated approx 90* w/ GD-600 & MM motor, Maxx 2.5 shafts with added reinforcements, X-Factor axles, narrowed Kongs and RCRockGear links. It's at about 16.75" wheelbase. XTM shocks up front and Savages out back. Body slammed as low as possible on chassis too.

That's a Savage tire/wheel combo rolled under the 'Tot....

Some tube that slips right over the 2.5 Maxx shafts. It kinda keeps the shaft from flexing........ and pulling out too soon

Here's a shot of the first run with the reinforced shafts & old chassis:

Be creative Some(builder of the chassis) like to mount batteries on the upper links in a tray that moves with the links... others like to build packs that mount to the axles and get the weight down low.

I'm gonna put my batteries on a tube roof rack to simulate camping gear and tools.

I mounted my batteries inside my tires to balance them out. I had some killer death-wobble till they setteled in.

You know.....

If someone could mount batteries to their rims and have a contact ring on the outside....

Toyo,

I got my Raider chassis today.....NICE ! . Can`t wait to get some axles figured out for this thing, hopefully it won`t be long till there is a Raider vs el cheapo Savy chassis in the back yard rock pile. Should be interesting.

And to anyone on the fence about getting the Raider chassis... It`s worth it, nice and clean and light weight and fairly compact.

Thanks.
