| axle movement - left to right
ok i noticed that the new losi's axle doesn't move left to right and that the mounting points for the lowers are right next to each other, is that how they acheived it? does it have anything to do with the uppers? mine moves out of center a little and i always though it was because the link mount points on the axle were pretty far from the axle

It all has to do with triangulation and link geometry

When the two links are closer at the chassis than the axle, the axle won't move sideways. If you try to follow the arc of one link going sideways, the other will have to stretch or contract for the axle to move side to side. Since they're solid, no movement. Double triangulation makes it absolutely impossible. |
