Bored of the shaftys, its Time for MOA Hi guys, I'm building 2.2 Crawlers for about 3 years now. Started with the TLT and ended up with Axial Axles. But now I wanna try something new. I have some questions: Which axles should I use? Berg, Bully, HR, ... I can't make a decision. And the other question: What chassistype is the best for the MOA axles? I'm gonna start the build in the autumn, but I want to collect informations, interesting buildthreads and some vendor parts links that I could need. I hope you can help me. And sorry for my horrible english. :-( Andreas |
Berg axles. Kamikaze chassis. The chassis you choose from him will depend on you driving style. I drive a 3.5 Kami chassis for the Berg. It has won more comps than any other chassis for the Berg out there. He has great customer service and he guarantees all of his stuff! Berg axles+Kamikaze=WIN, WIN, WIN!!!!!! It is Jeff's birth day today and he has a sale on his chassis going on for that. He has never sold all of his chassis this cheap before! You can pick what chassis and links you want (Package deal) for $75!!!!! Grab one while you can at this price! http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=182062 Even if you decide to go with Bully axles, get a Kamikaze chassis! And if you are looking to build a comp 1.9 MRC Kamikaze Kustoms has you covered! Check out his new MRC comp chassis! http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=178555 |
Thanks Kenny! That's a great deal, but I have no money to spend at the moment. I like the look of these Chassis, I think I'll search youtube for some driving vids. |
Search the videos on here, you will find plenty of Kamikaze's chassis being run;) |
If you are bored with shaftys you will really be bored with MOA. Once you get your chassis set up similarly to anyone else who has a chassis like you get ... it's pretty much automatic and a non-tinkering kind of rig. I haven't needed to do anything to mine since I built it. It does great, just kind of boring. (it just sits there on the shelf between comps). So I have actually started tinkering and tweaking my Axial more since having the MOA :ror: You'll love it... Berg axles Rockshow Chassis (look at badd's new thread and his Rockshow) 3S power and 45 turn brushed motors. |
As of late I think the chassis that has been winning the most comps has been the DNA-RC Slingshot. It is a really well thought out compact design that not only works good as a shaftie but has been dominating with MOA's attached. Check them out in the vendor section or at DNA-RCSTORE.com |
Yup DNA is killing the compation as of now. They have been winning top spots at all the major events IE: ECC, MWC, Crawlapaloza, and 3 of the top 4 spots at Texas State Finals."thumbsup" |

That is so true. Very well put, I completely agree."thumbsup" |
DNA ALL THE WAY"thumbsup""thumbsup" |
