Try checking out the Texas forum in the regional section here on RCC.

Best thing is show up to one and check it out talk to people and then enter the next one. Once you do one you'll be hooked.

Couple threads to check out. Find the club nearest to your location, most clubs have a small club forum of their own. USRCCA Clubs map USRCCA recognized club list They will usually put sign up threads on their own forums as well as in the Competitions forum here on RCC. |

Try looking in the Texas specific section. That's where you should start looking, then find some of the people that are local to you and maybe shoot them a private message asking about their local club etc. if it's not listed in their signature. Most clubs have an entry fee for a comp for non-members, but it is usually no more than $5. Also, another thing to keep in mind from the map of all the clubs, those are only the RCC Sanctioned clubs. There are plenty more clubs out there, they just did not meet the sanctioning requirements or didn't try to so that their club could be eligible to receive Nats bids..;)

Frisco if that is where you actually are is way north. I was going to suggest coming to texasrcoffroad.com comps in houston but damn. There is a TXRCRCA chapter up closer to your area. check them out. But you are still invited to TXRCO also.

Check out http://www.txrcrca.com/forum/index.php You can sign up and look arround. We always post up the comp dates times and locations in plenty of advance. Just make it a point to show up to them. Theres no sign up ahead of time except for State finals but even then you can come. If theres an open spot your good to go. Oh Look under NTXRCC. They are the closet to you. The next closet to you will be ETX but we don't run a 1.9 class right now. |
