Would punisher shaft run at a steeper angle and not bind like stock driveshafts? Mine are at about 25* now and at there max but I would like to be able to get about 45* out of a drive shaft so I can get some more suspension travel and be able to shorten my wheelbase to comp specs when I want to run a comp.

Universal joints and CVD's don't work well at sharp angles, they soak up a lot of torque and become stressed, increasing the likelyhood of binding or breaking. 45* is pushing the limits! You could try clocking your axles to reduce the angle between the shaft and the pinion. What rig are we talking about? Cheers. |

Well Ive got the axles clocked a little right now but I was unsure of the effect it would put on transferring the input of torque to the output of the torque at the wheels so I didnt want to over do it. Its going in my TLT axled rig with a stampede tranny.
