depending on how thick you put it on it would add some weight but it would definately hold up.

I prefer paint over rhino liner. the rubbery type surface that bed liners have won't slide on rocks as well as painted surfaces.

Having worked with the stuff before on a small level, I think you'd be dissapointed in the outcome. By then you will have totally wasted the chassis and wish you would have just painted it again or had it powder coated.
Instead, try making some panels out of plastic/lexan, etc. and covering up just enough area to save the tubes paint in a roll over.
Just my .02 but don't let that stop you if your commited to trying it. trial and error helps us all, good or bad, it's nice to know the outcome.

i think it will look just like a black paint with a little sparkle,
and i dont do comps so it wont matter to much,
it also wont chip like paint does

I did it to mine, and it just wants to peel away...and it made my crawler smell funny. I wish i would have just flat blacked it instead. It was hard to do without globbing it on too. But it's a good idear in theory!

I used this spray called Outlast. You really have to let it dry well or it makes a huge mess of things. Other than that, it didn't work too badly. Never have to worry about it rusting lol. The outlast doesn't have any texture though, which makes it look better and not so globby.
