Default 1/10 scale = 1.9 size tire??

Hey guys, Just wondering since I bought blackwells, it says for 1/10 scale truck...So for the best scale look shouldn't I go with 1.9 size tires instead of 2.2?? And im going with four wheel steering so i need 2 front axles correct?? I probably a very stupid question but I just wanna make sure. thats the way ive always done my 1.1 vehicles
Thanks a Bunch, Nate

A 1.9" wheel will scale to 19" wheel at 1/10th scale. Not sure what rigs running Rockwells usually run but I am guessing anywhere from 19.5" to 22.5" wheels. However, unless the blackwell axles are quite a bit wider than an Axial then I am guessing they aren't accurately 1/10th scale and may be closer to 1/12th scale for example.

Long story short, 1.9" wheels will probably look pretty good

axial's are about 8-5/8" wide. So im gonna say go with a 1.9 wheel, but use some big tires. There is no sense in using rockwells with little tires..haha

Depends on what your scaling to. 1.9 flatirons= 42's, 2.2 flatirnons= 48's.
Most crawlers max up to 42's (trail rigs less). Mud boggers and big buggies might have sizes up in the 2.2 range.

then I think your tires are way to small and your axles are all wrong.. closest thing on the market to looking like warthogs axle's would be narrowed twin force..

For those axles, you HAVE to go with that new RC4WD military tire!

Those axles were meant for a 5.3" tire!

---If your doing the Warthog, and your going 1/10 scale. Then you want to use some 2.2 tire. The Warthog has like 54" Boggers so 1/10 would be a 5.4in tire. You could probobly get away with 4.8in cause I think he said he used to run 48's too.
