GMade Shocks

Hey all
I am new to the crawler scene and have been tinkering with my AX to Edge project. I am having a binding problem in the shafts at full droop. So after doing some reading I am considering going with a shorter shock. From what I can tell the stock AXial shocks are 120mm. My plan is to limit the down travel by using a shorter shock. The GMade's seem to have a good reputation, over the Integy ones. The GMade's also come in a 104mm from what I can tell. So my over all question's are, Will this work? and Where can I get the GMade shocks?
Thanks in Advance

i loved my gmade shocks and they worked great sprung and in droop"thumbsup" the only reason i took them off is cuz i got the dna sss chassis.

all you need to do is take apart your shocks and put some fuel tubing under the piston to limit travel

I've seen the Gmade shocks in action, they do work nice. I was going to get some until I seen the new Axial shock work. Those things are the stuff....they really are all that AND a bag of chips."thumbsup"

They do look really nice, but I'm not about to spend that kind of money on them. They are literally twice the price of losi shocks, which is entirely unreasonable. Especially if you consider how wonderful the losis are (when properly built)"thumbsup"

What lenght did you get? Do you need to cut the springs down?

Rubihahn 07-03-2009 07:37 AM

I considered cutting the springs. I have the Dual Rate's. As for the shocks they are the stock Axial ones.
