Default suspention link question

Whats the most popular link diameter for 1/10 scale crawlers...Im wanting it to look as scale as possible. Ill be using stainless steal or possibly aluminum solid bar stock. Maybe you guys could give an opinion on that as well Thanks nate

Well, if you consider that you can see a typical 1:1 link in the range of 2"-2.5" in diameter...1/4" would be just about right. You could use 3/16" also for a bit smaller scale look which would look more like "medium duty" 1:1 links that are less than 2" in diameter. You're limited with the 1:10 scale sizing depending on what rod end you'll be using. The link will obviously need to be large enough to occupy the thread needed for the rod end and a bit of wall thickness around the thread for strength.

1/4" OD will fit the Traxxas rod ends nicely....which will have a smooth transition from link to rod end.
