I want to make my own front bumper for my stock clodbuster. The plan is to aim for the Proline Western bumper with a brushgaurd. What materials should I use to keep it lightweight but strong?? What procedure should I use to join the materials?? Mig, Brazing, Something else??

If it helps I'm making it to mount a winch on also. I will have to utilise the stock clodbuster bumper mounting holes.

I would use either 1/4 in brake line or stainless steel tubing in 1/4 or 3/16. Then I would braze it together using harris safety silv 56 brazing rods and there flux as well . Works great for me |

Do you mean for the brushgaurd or for the bumper also?? Because I want the bumper to mimic a stock clodbuster bumper or the Proline Western bumper, but with a big brushgaurd.
