Default How long should my links be? Heres how long:

Heres a formula for figuring out link lengths when you have a desired wheelbase:

A=T-C-L
......2

If your lower links are perfectally horizonal, stop right now. A is your lower link length. If your lower links are not perfectally horizonal, continue with the formula below

Y^2=A^2+B^2

T= Total desired wheelbase
C= Distance the chassis's lower link mount is away from the chassis's center line
L= Distance the axles's lower link mount is away from the axle's center line
A=Lower link legth (if horizonal)
B=If you were to mount your links horizonal starting below the chassis, B is how much lower you want you're axle to be (measure at the axle shafts)
Y= Link length

Then Just assemble your truck and measure for the upper links.

Hope all of this munbo-jumbo makes sense to all of you

LOL

I guess I over complicated things. I didn't even use this meathod on my crawlers. I just measured and hoped that I wouldn't have to redo things

I just used some straws to mock things up after my chassis was built, guestimated, and then made 8 equal length rods.
