I had a really cool RC K-5 Blazer around 1983/1984, It was sold at KB Toy and Hobby ( shopping mall chain store). It was called ' Mountain Man', it was some type of ABS plastic, it used 6 or 8 'c' batteries ( can't remember..) it has 2wd or 4wd. which was engaged by moving a slide lever on the roof of the truck. I'd guess it was somewhere around 1/10th scale.

I have no idea what company actually built it, but it was pretty tough. I killed it by finding out it wasn't water proof...

I've been looking for one for years, but no one seems to have saved any of them. They came in red or black( different frequencies)
