Depends souly on what your doing. Both are about the same, except ones about 2times the size of the other. If you want to do the hardcore competition..then get an axial. If you want to drive the somewhat easier class, go with the losi. |

The axial is more durable out of the box than an MRC.

When the weather is bad, you can play with the MRC in your basement or spare room without needing as much space as the Axial 2.2. |

I have to vote MRC. It is great to be able to crawl inside and outside without much space. Plus, it becomes very capable with all the free mods out there.

stock losi packs last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. it just depends how long and how hard you beat on it. I still run stock packs in 3 of the 4 MRCs that I own. one of my MRCs is completely box stock and I have never broken anything on it (other than the leaky stock shocks). I also have a modded out comp MRC that I break something on just about every time I take it out. As far as modding a MRC: tires, beadlocks, front/rear/center diffs, Lipo, upper 4 link setup, bent lower links and flat stick on weight (for the tires) are pretty much all you will need to do aside from the free mods you can do on your own. I'm a big fan of being able to crawl inside or outside anytime I want. I would, however, LOVE to have an Axial RTC or the Losi Comp Crawler!!! I just havent broke down and bought one... |

I have had better luck with the MRC holding up better than a Axial.
