Great set up, it's great to see people mashing parts together and make cool stuff. I'd love to see a vid of it doing it's thing out the rocks.

We sell the Montrucks DualDig for the AX10 tranny. It works great but we do not stock any at this time. The DualDig is a great thing to have when trying to level the field between the shaftys and MOA's. -Jason

What the?!? Someone putting parts on their crawler that aren't a direct bolt-on? What's wrong with you? Nice mod. I give it a month before a vendor jumps on this... |

I use a Robbe Futaba FX-18 (that's not mine, just grabbed on the net): It's an RX built for aircraft. It is 8ch, but it is sold with only 4 ch assigned to the stick. You could add various controls for the other 4 channels. Switch, linear slide and so on. As you can see in the pic there are a lot of closed holes for the additional controls. THEN i added this thing: That is a 2,4 Ghz module built by Assan. You can find it here: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...&ParentCat=190 After some soldering (very easy) that's the result: Moving the switch near the little antenna will give power to the 40 Mhz module OR to the 2,4 Ghz. It works very well ;) Yes. There aren't so many competition here and those are a couple of 900 mAh to have a decent runtime I was sure someone alreday did it | |||
