Nylint/ mog diffs, we need a write up on this. What reductions are those and what is the width of it now?

The width is roughly 7 3/4 inches, the gear reduction is 2:1. I posted a pic next to stock rear axle so you can get a idea of width (it looks wider b-cuz my body is narrowed 5 slots in grill instead of 7)

Holy fawk! What are those? Modified GD600's or some chit? Can that brass spacer be shortened at all to suck the track width in a bit? I like that better than adding a second planetary in the axle. More reduction AND more axle clearance. How did you do the rear end? I need pics!

The increase in track width isn't as bad as it looks when compared to the stock axle. The difference is only a little more than 2inches from the looks. The slimmed body exhagerates it. The extension looks like is going to be hard on the stock steering, I think a servo will be neccesary to take full advantage of this idea. I can't wait to find out the details of this mod!

Where can I get those? And how much are they? Can you get them for a 1/6th scale nylint?

Got a call from hobby shop 3 channel radio that I ordered is in. That might answer your concerns on steering. The rear is getting the same as the front for the set up. Found a better pinion gear for the inside of the portals brass spacer is all the way gone. (Shrunk width another half an inch or more) did some testing driving with the front dragging rear axle around. This thing is unstoppable so far. Well I have to go get radio now I'll post more pics later. Going to fab all night long so it can be ready to wheel the snail trail tomorrow.

Here's a couple photos one of mock up for the rear just to get it moving (waiting for wal-fart to get more crawlers so I can score another front axle) the other photo of portal sucked up closer to knuckle.
