Don't buy it. Save your money and get some 4 link plates I bought it and it's rubbish. Kieren |

When you mentioned Stage 2, my immediate thought was the CKRC Stage 2 modification for the AX-10. Being a newbie myself, I got the Axial Kit, Novak 18.5 Goat and started from there. I will admit being extremely skeptical about a crawler any crawler for that matter. But since I was forced to give up my oval racing, I thought I would try something different. Read a lot here and there and decided on the kit! I was not impressed with the AX-10 at all - eeewwwwhhhh! I then added the stage 2 conversion with some Losi Comp Claws. The thing woke up and started to interest me a little more. However, let's go back. With this kit I intended to start from the basics and go up on the modifications and use the whole thing as a learning experience. So I ain't gonna be like "Aussie" and say that it was rubbish, but somehow I get the feeling that my money could have been spent better elsewhere. I didn't like the bent links as IMO it overexposed the driveshaft. Using the Goat system, I had to move the motor back 1/8 of an inch to keep the motor from rubbing on the (modded) upperlink mounting screws. As a learning experience, it was money well spent, but that feeling that there is something better in the offering. I have the 4 link hardware for the rear and going to put that on, trying to keep the longer links shafts, somehow I get the notion that the longer links will make for a smoother operation. Keeping the pinion angle the same throughout the suspension travel. That's my story with a Stage 2 conversion. You asked for the "time" and I told you how build a "watch". LOL! I still long for the days of going fast and turning left in the dirt! |

Yeah ok sorry if it came out a to harsh. It did help a little. But not enough to justify the cost. Kieren |

cut your skid plate, go 4 link, and triangulate your suspension links. on my stock chassis i drilled new holes fot my upper links and ran longer than stock. also with 4 link you can run the rear links asemetrical to combat TT. and you can do all that prolly for less than the stage 2 kit |
