Default 14.5 SCALE Chassis for Tamiya Bronco

Anyone know of anybody who makes scale chassis the would measure 14.5" total length.? With a wheelbase of about 9.5 to 10" wheelbase. I would like it based off of Diaz Designs old scale chassis.

Thanks for any help.

Our outback series chassis is 9.5" Its pricey but the detail quality is top notch.

Are you good with tools, you can make your own out of C channel or 1/8" aluminum. Have you looked at the X-trail by TCS??

THe Xtrail is a sweet chassis, I think too long though? I haven't looked at the measurements.

No good with the whole drilling the holes part evenly. Nor, I don't know where to get c-channel..

Damn, Where is Diaz Designs when ya need him. LOL

To get C-Channel all you need to do is get a piece of square stock, bend it the way you want and then cut it down the middle.

A Reign RC K2-5 and K2-3L could be cut down to 14.5" easily. I have done it on multiple rigs including this one that has a 9.75" wb

A K2-3s or K2-5 will fit under there perfectly with no modifications.

Those still being made? My Montana designs right? I remember those, but, I thought they were done?

Actually it's Reign RC not Montana Scale Designs. PM Kaetwo. I think he is out right now but has more on the way.

I'm actually waiting on a k2-5s for my Bronco build

No problem. I got mine a couple of days ago. The detail on the body is incredible! I love rigs that are right around 10" They are so much fun to drive. I'm going to run tlt axles, axial tranny, Axial scale shocks, RC4WD Mud Thrashers, and do some detailing on the body. I can't wait!

Yeah, the detail is killer. It is really scale looking compared to my F-350 body. Although that body is a Nikko, and a little small. This Bronco body makes the HPI look like a fullsize Bronco. LOL. I ain't baggin on the HPI, like that body too.

But, for a "scale" approach. This Tamiya is proportioned perfectly.

I am running TLT's, TLT shaved down shocks, coils up front, "hopefully" rear leafs, Tomohawks and building a front/rear bumpers, roll cage and of course the scale goods.
