| Possibly a working 2-speed basher (56k warning)
I've wanted a truck that could crawl (to a reasonable extent) and also be fun to cruise around. The Emaxx tranny was obviously my first choice. I just never figured out a way to work it comfortably into a small scale truck without binding or it being ridiculously out of place. Until of course, at least in threory this project. I know its going to be heavy but it all for fun not comp. Regardless I sat down for an hour tonight and slapped this together. I'm contemplating using a pan hard setup and maybe chassis mounted steering. I'm not going for insane artic. so it may work. Either way I'll post the build as much as I can. Here's the start. For those wondering the shifted tranny was from a previous monstrosity of a project that is now scrap. I know claw dawgs don't crawl well its a basher Excuse the hidious brazing my dremel is down and i'm a spaz Shifter tranny (works in theory) Last edited by CrawlnSlow; 11-20-2005 at 11:36 PM. |

I haven't weighed it yet but the steel is insanely heavy. This this is going to be an arm breaker.
