| RC4WD Scale Shocks (internal springs) ???
What are your guys thoughts on RC4WD Scale Shocks. I've got a set on my SCX-10 and I'm thinking about swapping them out.

are these the white scale shocks? if they are, i replaced the springs with softer ones, i used hilift ones. they work ok in a fairly light rig.

i like em'. there was a post around a while ago where someone was showing how to mod them to make them run more smoothly. i don't know if rc4wd endorsed the idea, but it entailed removing one of the small o rings, and exchanging the oil for lightwgt grease ? either way, couple those shocks with those pissah little boots they offer and you got yourself a nice looking shock. |

Thanks crunky and cutlaSS, I'll search for that post. They seem a little choppy to me with poor rebound.

I got the stiff RC4WD shocks as well. Any idea where I can find some hilift springs? All I can find is the whole shock assembly, even on eBay. Thanks.
