cliff climber opinion on cc i have a ax10 now but was thinking about a cc for a second crawler just wondering if i would be dissapointed with its performance compared to ax10 |
compared to an ax10, yes you will be disappointed when you compare the two. the motors dont last a long time and the are guttless on anything under 10 cells, the stock tries suck, the plastic internals dont hold up well for long with good 2.2s. but it can be decent with diff motors, metal gears, good tires, and 12t pinion up front to help w/ stall, and better electronics |
thanks i can get a rtr for 40 bucks that is like new |

ya for 40 thats a steal i would do it, i got the artr for 40 from tower bc i had all the elect to run. for that price its not bad and you could make it alot better and have around 100-120 total in it. 50 for all the metal gears, a few for the pinion, 15 for banebot motors later on, and get some 2.2s and its alot better for just a bit more than a nib rtr |
Why Not! The performance of a CC is not on the same level of a AX10, but for such a low price you get a pretty good crawler as a second option to play with."thumbsup" |
I would jump on it for that price. I'm sure its a fun little crawler to mess around with and just have some fun. i wish i could find one at that price:? |
what you mean you wish you can? sign up on tower on a new email account, and click get coupons through email, they will send you a $20 off a $50+ purchase. so then thats 29 bucks plus 10 bucks shipping.. thats 40 bucks |
I was thinking about getting one also. Don't laugh I'm trying to get away from my nylint, finally although still very fun. |
