Default cliff climber vs used wheely king?

im wanting a scaler kinda.. i want to run trails with it, and hit some mud or water from time to time.. not anything crazy.. but i also want it to climb decently

if i bought a used wk, i would get one that had a crawler conversion or was stretched. i would put some flat irons or mud slingers on it. but i want it to look decently scale

if i got a cliff climber, i woudl buy the artr one, and prolly get a evx2 wp used, and traxxas radios etc.. i can get a cliff climber from tower for 40 bucks shipped. and maybe some flat irons?

opinions?

I vote WK, esp if you want a "scale look" the CC axles are MOA(motor on axle) yes the CC can be made to kinda look scale, but its still A MOA.

WK has alot of aftermarket support too, alot more than a CC does.

Go with the WK! The WK has more support and is a better looking and performing scaler build.

I agree with the WK option, there are so many mods available, eg. free templates for all sorts of brackets and chassis and such, it's pretty easy to narrow the axles and adjust the link/shock brackets on the axles also.

what about the crawler king? it already has a scale body, and has some cool tires and a crawler conversion? the conversion is 100 bucks alone isnt it? the crawler king is 250 bucks

Conversion is about $55, but I do like the way my WK crawls with what work I've done to it.
