Default What's your RTI score?

Measure your wheelbase, then max out the articulation and measure how far the tire is off the ground. (Example: My Green Jeep has a 9" wheelbase, and it lifts the tire 4" off the ground.)
Then go to http://www.4lo.com/calc/rticalc.htm and plug in the numbers.

Truck base:

Wheelbase:

Height of tire off ground:

RTI Score:

Inches up 20* ramp:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My scores...

Green Jeep:

Truck base: Jeep

Wheelbase: 9"

Height of tire off ground: 4"

RTI Score: 1299

Inches up 20* ramp: 11.7"

Black Jeep:

Truck base: Jeep

Wheelbase: 8"

Height of tire off ground: 3.75"

RTI Score: 1371

Inches up 20* ramp: 11"

Post up your results.

Hey guys... have a new setup. It's not completely RTR yet, but close.
My green jeep now has 4 wheel steer and is getting real electronics.

The New Setup:
Truck base: Jeep

Wheelbase: 8.25"

Height of tire off ground: 4.25"

RTI Score: 1506

Inches up 20* ramp: 12.4"

Can't wait to run this setup!

Wheelbase 7" (Center to center)
Height of tire 7"
RTI 2924
Would have traveled 20.46"

score is 1385 & 13.2" with the new tlts. so i take it that the people that are getting 8 & 9 inches of clearance are running 1:6th scales. mine is 1:18th.

Let me take some pics.

I'll put them on RCpics.net.

This is the 1:18 scale with 2.2 inch dirt hawgs.

All I did was use the calculator above and plug in the numbers.

Edited:
Cham:

I have pics.

RCPics.net is down.

I'll post them tonight if the website comes up.

Chambiec,

I've posted the pics at: http://www.rcpics.net/member/papewayo

BTW: After further measuring I found that the articulation was more like 7.25 not 7".
