| Mounting a Edge chassis to non-axial axles?
Hey Guys, I'm looking at buying a TCS Edge chassis or something of the likes but I'm looking at mounting them to some random looking clod axles, they seem pretty tough and whatever but it's beyond the point. It would be around the 16/17" wheelbase but I'm just curious if it would work with differen't axles. Cheers. |

You can make a Edge work with Cold axles, I did it a long time ago messing around.....

I had that chassis with clod axles and custom bent lower links from a revo. I used 4-40 hardware to mount the links to the axles on the top hole of where an axle brace would fit and bent the links to work around the clod axle so I didn't get any binding. I didn't like that set up because the chassis itself was too small at the time running 2 batts...2 esc...etc.
