Default losi 8ight Buggy shocks on crawler??

I have a set of Losi 8ight Buggy Shocks lying around and was thinkin about slapping them on my custom crawler/ rock racer...would this work properly and limit articulation a bit or am i wastin my time? Right now i have stock axial shocks and wanted to lower the rig slightly..thanks

I thought about the same thing, my buggy came with two sets of shocks - one standard and one big bore 16mm set. I deemed that even the small standard set would be too large in diameter for my liking. If they will fit your truck I say try it out!

Aside from the spring rates being too stiff, you'll probably run into clearance issues when the front tires are turned and the shock is compressed. But try it anyways, I'd like to see just how big those shocks are

Tire rubbing was my concern as well, I already have my shocks inboarded so they don't rub. I also considered running the springs internally. I believe I am actually headed in the opposite direction, with smaller shocks like the pro-line scaler shocks, with internal springs.

ok im gonna play with this later tonite and report back....prolly be a exercise in futility. Maybe ill try to rig up some internal springs in the losis and see if that changes the stiffness of the spring rates.
