Default Nylon 6/6 vs Delrin

Can someone explain the differences in material characteristics between Nylon 6/6 and Delrin? I have researched the scientific differences, but there is nothing that really states if they are truly similar, or if Nylon 6/6 is just softer, or to "bendy" in comparison. IF someone has worked with both, can you please state the differences?

This is a comparison for diferent plastics http://www.machinist-materials.com/c...r_plastics.htm

I have worked with both homopolymer delrin and copolymer acetron. One is stiffer than the other but both are very strong and rigid. I imagine nylon 66 is a lot softer than delrin or acetron just by the chemical makeup. Sorry for the speculation and your probably already aware of the chemical differences. Just trying to help.

This thread might be of some help too
Which type of delrin is best used for links and why?

Great question.
