Default Rear dig worth it?

Well, I'll start with my situation.
I am building my Bully 2 rig, and stuck with a decision to make. I have an MX-3 which I've now modded for a 3 position switch, and also have a DX3S that I was using for my other trucks.
I could use the mx-3 to get front and rear dig, but have noticed that I get A LOT more control with my Spektrum. I'm just having a hard time thinking of a situation when rear dig would actually be very useful. So I am leaning toward just using my Spektrum for the extra control, and just wiring my punk dig switch for front dig.

So what types of situations do you find yourself actually using your rear dig? and is it really that much of an advantage?

I find rear dig very useful, especially when getting the rear end to come around on off cambers.

Picture this.. you are coming down a hill, the next gate is uphill and you can't go to the bottom to turn around. So while pointing down the hill you kick in the rear dig and turn your wheels. This will rotate the truck around and point you up the hill.

Here's an example of some rear dig use...

Kamikaze practicing. NO need to debate about the rules here guys.

I agree with SVEN,it can be very useful. But personally,I rarely use it. I use front dig more than I use 4 wheel drive actually. Brush wear front to rear on my Berg is now right at 3 to 1 if that tells you how much I use my front axle.

Alright, I can see that being pretty helpful being able to swing that rear end around on a hill. I'll probably drive it around with the mx-3 for a while, and see how much I actually use it myself.

Thanks for the replies.
