Default Show Off Your Rock-Crawling, Electric, Non-Stadium Truck, Whatever-Scale Truggie!

Let's try this again, without the "real world vs. RC world" definition of a truggie (or truggy) debate. Since this is a rock crawling site, and most of us are interested in RC rockcrawlers, let's just show some pics and specs of those. You know, rock crawling truggies, just in smaller RC scale. Sorry moderator for the double post, and if you feel the need to move this again if it gets non-tech, please do.............I just thought it would be nice to have a tech thread with truggie pics/specs.

From original thread:

So, show your's off if you have one!!

(btw, this is my first attempt at bending/brazing tube, so wish me luck)

Here's the one I'm working on

I'd like to see some more pics of the blue one. Does anyone know where I can get some?

Looks like a sweet rig you are building. I like some of the 1:1 details you are adding.

thanks that means a lot coming from you. I'm trying to make it as scale as possible. Should be good when finished. Of course while tapping my lower links I busted the tap so when I back to the left coast from the right coast, It's of to the hardware store. Check my build thread in the scale forum for updates.

I am seriously gonna have to agree. I was gonna make a replica of my super crawler in a 2.2 form, but with all this truggy crap, you guys got me wanting to find a bruiser body and get to work now.. fawkers

what got me is the TTORA blue one, Rckjeeps and Jeffs bruisers.Although they all look sweet( except the first one ). Maybe I can wait on Skipster and see if he is gonna start making his bodies

Thats what I'm waiting for, If TT sells his Yota body my Hilux is for sale. I've resisted hacking it up for 2 mo's now, Don't know how long I can resist looking at all these kick *ss trucks. The only way I'm making it is I just got my SW-2 from Bender so it's been keeping me busy! LOL.(Damb scale rigs!!)
