Shock Springs-Traxxas slash spring ?'s

I have a custom shock setup i am going to try to make work on a crawler i am building. I have a set of t-maxx big bore shocks, and want to run progressive springs on them like are found on the Slash. Will a standard Slash spring fit on a big bore traxxass shock like a t-maxx or slash bog bore shock? Thanks for any help, i am again slowly making some progress on my Super Build, and my first crawler.

I have found they are diffrent part numbers...

I can't answer for big bores...

but

I put stock progressive springs from a slash on a set of stock maxx shocks and it worked...

I tried the progressive springs that came on my big bores for my slash, and they're too small in diameter for the stock maxx shocks...

I know with the slash, the big bores are smaller in diameter than the stock slash shocks... not sure if it's the same for the maxx big bores...

All in all, If I tried any slash springs, I'd go after some STOCK slash springs, and go from there...

not much help, but at least it's a reply right?

I've used these Maxx springs on many crawlers and they work well.

WIll these springs linked work on the big bore Maxx shocks?

Thanks for the help guys, i really appreciate it. I am trying to wrangle up more parts so i can weld up my stainless tube chassis. My shocks are going to be massive, and i definetly need the springs in order to set the ride height effectively. I'm hoping to get a good bit of droop w/ these progressive springs. I hadnt found any progressive Maxx Springs till now, i'm an ambitious Newb w/ some cool tools :)

I will measure the inside diameter of my springs when I get home tonight and let you know. I don't have the big bore shocks so all I can give you is the measurement of the springs.

That will be just as good as anything, thanks a lot!

The Traxxas 4957R Maxx springs measure .594" (19/32") inside diameter and are about 3" long.

FYI, the stock Traxxas Slash rear springs measure the same inside diameter (.594") and are about 2.75" long.
