Default Cow RC Micro Mat Review

COW RC MICRO MAT REVIEW

http://www.cowrc.com/

I received the Cow RC Micro Mat yesterday, and upon opening the box, I was very impressed with the quality of the cuts for the foam. This mat is going to be very handy for small rebuilds, and I already had two in mind. I needed to mount some RokLox to my VP LH 1.9s, and I also needed to fix an output shaft on the Axial transmission. Perfect mat for the job!!!

Here is a picture of the mat straight out of the packaging…

And a picture of the mat with the foam protectors/storage blocks removed…

This mat ended up being the perfect size to organize, and keep all parts in a central location for the tire mounting…

For the rebuild of the Axial transmission, the mat proved to be worth every penny. All the compartments kept everything very organized, and in place…

Broke Axial Transmission ready for disassembly…

All disassembled…

It was quit difficult to get this picture, but this is a photo of the mat completely upside down with screws, body clips, and such on the mat…Unreal holding power…I actually rebuilt the transmission and the tires/wheels on the mat in my lap in my recliner, all screws were held from sliding around thanks to the magnet…

They make 3 or 4 different sizes of this mat! We are all waiting the release of the Jumbo version! This thing is sweet along with all of Cows products!! Good job Heath!

i think when the jumbo's come out i'll get a micro and a jumbo. the jumbo to disassemble the crawler on and the micro to work on assembleys (say pull an axle off the truck on the jumbo then take it apart on the micro)

Heath, these are awesome.

It is amazing how something as simple as this can make a huge difference with a build or pit repair. No more little containers or paper towels to hold screws from rolling away.

Thanks

Thank You

I am very proud of our Screw Catchers. I use mine every time I work on my R/C projects... Will be stoked when I have the jumbo, finally a Screw Catcher big enough for my baby
