Cool. But that pricetag is freaking insane! I could buy a 1/10 model v8 and put a transfer case in it for way less than $250. Just my opinion though.

it is an awsome idea but the price is too high for my taste, it doesnt even come with a motor. like someone else said earlier, you can get a 1/10 scale plastic motor and cover up your motor and trans and have an even scaler looking motor. not dissing rc4wd at all, they make awsome products but the price is a lil steep. great lookin product

the concept is out of the world, the hard part to swallow is the price. i'm sure it's a great product and funtions well, but the cost is way out of bounds for nothing other than a motor COVER.

What about heat dissapation? No where for the heat to go. That, and how is the front of the unit mounted? All that weight on the t-case plate seems like too much. I love the idea though!

I don't think the price is all that unreasonable. If you were to purchase a center transfer case and transmission or gear reduction unit seperately, plus your time and labor to fit it into a plastic motor case, well you get the idea. I'd be more afraid of heat inside a plastic case than inside this aluminum one too. | |

Well im sure some scale builder will snap this up and possibly add a fuctioning rad. You could just rig it up with a cooling system off of a boat, and plumb it through a tiny homemade radiator. This would require some more machine work but from what I've seen from some of the scale guys, it would not be impossible.
